SAMANWAYAM DAY 02

The second day of the community living camp Samanwayam (29/03/2025, Saturday)began with a prayer, followed by a review session conducted by the previous day's program committee. The budget for the previous day was discussed, and the balance amount was reviewed. Notably, our team took charge of the finance committee under the guidance of Kiran Lal Sir.

MORNING SESSION 
The first session of the second day started at 10:30 AM and was titled "Magic as a Teaching-Learning Strategy" by Vishnu Kallara, a magician. During this session, we witnessed various magic tricks, learned some techniques, and explored how magic can be used in the classroom to enhance learning.

AFTERNOON SESSION 
The afternoon session, "Aesthetic Education through Folk Songs," was led by Sri. Joy Nandavanam, a renowned folk song singer and child dramatist. The session focused on using folk songs as a teaching tool and included interactive singing and valuable insights.

IFTAR PARTY 
The day concluded with an Iftar party at 6:00 PM, organized in collaboration with PTMITE, featuring various programs and activities.

e-content For the e-content, I've covered the parts of speech, explaining the eight categories with examples. We discussed exercises to reinforce understanding and wrapped up with a follow-up activity to apply the concepts. The parts of speech included nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Some interactive exercises were done to help grasp the concepts better. To further assess understanding, a follow-up activity was given, allowing students to apply their knowledge.

MICROTEACHING

SKILL OF USING BLACKBOARD For micro-teaching, I chose the skill of blackboard writing and selected the topic "Nouns." After having an informal interaction with the students, I explained what nouns are, wrote the definition, and provided examples on the blackboard. Then, I wrote sentences on the board and asked students to identify the nouns. Additionally, I encouraged students to share their own examples of nouns, which I wrote on the board. Finally, I summarized the key points.

SAMANWAYAM DAY 04

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, marked the fourth day of SAMANWAYAM. The day began with a mesmerizing sunrise viewing at the horizon. We then visited Eknath Ranade and Vivekananthapuram, gaining valuable insights. Our team, Bougainville, took on the responsibility of the Programme and Isai Nila Committee under the guidance of Bindya Ma'am, and I had the honour of delivering the vote of thanks for the program. The day featured an engaging session, "A Trigger to Mind's Eye," conducted by Vinod Santhipuram, India's leading mentalist, which left many students amazed by the power of mentalism. We also visited Thiruvalluvar and his heritage, Vivekananda Rock, and explored its mathematical implications. The day concluded with the vibrant cultural program "Isai Nila," which showcased the talents of  students, leaving everyone spellbound and eager for more.It was an enjoyable experience for both students and teachers.
