WEEK 01 OF TEACHING PRACTICE

Date: 21/7/25 to 26/7/25

Day 1: 21/7/25
Today marked the first day of my teaching practice, filled with excitement and hope. I met the Headmaster and submitted the attendance register. Afterwards, I got a substitution for the 7th and 8th periods, and a unit test was ongoing. I observed the students' behavior and got familiar with the school environment.

Day 2: 23/7/25
On the second day, I had many substitutions and also taught my assigned class 8, where I delivered my assigned lesson using sufficient teaching aids. The students were engaged and responsive. I also got to know some of the students' names and personalities.

Day 3: 25/7/25
On the third day, I had substitutions for upper classes and taught class 8, where I started a new lesson. The students were curious and asked relevant questions, which made the lesson more interactive. I also used visual aids to make the lesson more engaging.

Day 4: 26/7/25
Today being a Saturday meant low attendance, but I still managed to teach my class and started teaching the remaining portion of the lesson. The students were attentive, and we had a good discussion on the topic. Despite the low attendance, the class was productive and enjoyable.

Reflection
The first week of teaching practice was filled with fun, excitement, and good interaction with all the classes I got as substitutions. I look forward to learning and growing in the upcoming weeks, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to apply my teaching skills in a real-world setting.
