SKILL OF USING BLACKBOARD For micro-teaching, I chose the skill of blackboard writing and selected the topic "Nouns." After having an informal interaction with the students, I explained what nouns are, wrote the definition, and provided examples on the blackboard. Then, I wrote sentences on the board and asked students to identify the nouns. Additionally, I encouraged students to share their own examples of nouns, which I wrote on the board. Finally, I summarized the key points.
Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, marked the fourth day of SAMANWAYAM. The day began with a mesmerizing sunrise viewing at the horizon. We then visited Eknath Ranade and Vivekananthapuram, gaining valuable insights. We also visited Thiruvalluvar and his heritage, Vivekananda Rock, and explored its mathematical implications. The day concluded with the vibrant cultural program "Isai Nila," which showcased the talents of students, leaving everyone spellbound and eager for more.It was an enjoyable experience for both students and teachers.
As part of Environment Day celebrations, an inter-institute quiz competition was conducted by D.El.Ed students. Our B.Ed batch excelled, winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. Additionally, a workshop on album making was organized with the theme 'Herbal Garden'. Each student received plants, identified their common name, biological name, family, and medicinal values, and compiled this information into an album.
